The "Women Painting Women" exhibition at Grove Gallery in Downtown Evanston (619 Grove St.) from March 7 - April 15, 2026. Curator Sarah Kaiser-Amaral, selected 17 local female artists exploring authentic selfhood and challenging traditional male gaze perspectives. The exhibition featured a dynamic collection of figurative paintings, surreal depictions of the human form, and archetype portraits.The show ran during Women's History Month and featured an engaging lineup of artists and events.
